meet our team

Amy is known for bringing bold energy, big beats, and a whole lot of heart to the podium. She’s passionate about creating a warm, welcoming space where all riders feel seen and supported—especially those who might find group fitness a little intimidating.

Amy’s classes are built around the belief that movement should be both challenging and attainable. You can expect powerful playlists, a healthy dose of drama (in the music only), and just the right amount of ratchet. She encourages riders to lean in, let go, and be curious about what they're capable of. Her happy place? A heavy hill climb to an Odesza classic.

Outside of the studio, Amy works full-time as a Customer Success Manager at a mental health startup. When she's not at the studio, you'll likely find her hiking with her husband & two pups or at her favorite brewery -- Mountains Walking.

As a co-owner of Tenacious Cycle, Mel is passionate about creating a space where fitness feels fun, inclusive, and approachable. She believes movement should never be intimidating—just a chance to connect with your body, your resilience, and your community. Her classes are high-energy, and fueled by curiosity, empowerment, and trust—in yourself and in the ride.

Known for her big energy, upbeat playlists, and grounding presence, Mel’s goal is to help you feel strong, supported, and surprised by what you’re capable of.

When she’s not in the studio, Mel is outside soaking up Montana life—mountain biking, skiing, hiking, or exploring with her husband, two kids, and their adventure-loving husky, Huckleberry.

Whether she’s behind the front desk or on the podium, her goal is the same: to create a space where everyone feels welcome, supported, and fired up to make movement FUN. Her classes are upbeat, fun, and based on the belief that spin should meet you where you’re at and movement is meant to be enjoyed, not dreaded. She firmly believes that you don’t have to fit into a box to belong on the bike. Expect a playlist that mixes throwback bangers with fresh finds and choreography that keeps your brain and body on their toes. She loves taking song requests, too!

Outside the studio, Kelsey runs Good Day Marketing, a business helping local brands with their social media. Off the clock, you’ll usually find her with her dog Hammie and husband Joel, sipping a homemade gin cocktail and laughing through a comedy special.

While Kaili is still finding her instructor groove, one thing’s for sure: she loves to climb to a good early 2000s throwback. She’s excited to grow and vibe with her riders every step of the way.

When’s she’s not at the studio you can find her serving up coffees at The Lucky Penny Coffee Co. or down the street playing games at Lockhorn Cider House!

When you come into the studio be prepared to be welcomed by Emily! Emily took her first spin class in November 2022 and fell in love. The space, the lights, the beats along with the amazing riders in the room all supporting one another, she finally found enjoyment in moving her body. Knowing that working out and trying something new can be intimidating, think of Emily as your personal cheerleader at Tenacious. Here to check you in and hype you up for a great 45 minutes of your day! Whether it’s your first or hundredth ride, Emily will be there to celebrate all the milestones both in and out of the studio.

Outside the studio, Emily works full-time for a national insurance carrier specializing in property casualty commercial insurance sales underwriting. When not indulging in her preferred self-care (spin) at the studio, her time is spent soaking up the craziness of life with her husband, three daughters, and their dog, Jody.

ren

Having found spin in Boston in 2018, Ren saw the connection between dance, cycling, and HIIT, and has been an avid rider since. With additional background in martial arts, lifeguarding, and weight training, Ren hopes to incorporate a holistic approach to his classes while always sneaking a few club bangers into the playlist.

When not on the bike, Ren works for the department of Microbiology & Cell Biology at Montana State University. And, after a long day of work and teaching spin, you’ll generally find him playing retro video games.

lauren

Lauren brings contagious energy, thoughtful intention, and a little grit to every ride. She’s passionate about creating an inclusive, judgment-free space where every rider—whether brand new or seasoned—can show up exactly as they are, move their body, and feel welcome.

Her classes balance challenge and joy, moving from pop anthems to oldies, with moments that push you just enough, remind you to listen to your body, and encourage you to try something new and surprise yourself. She believes the bike is more than a workout, it’s a place to connect with yourself, reset, and leave a little brighter than you came in.

Off the bike, Lauren works in mental health and owns her own counseling practice. When she’s not teaching or in session, you’ll find her trail running with her pups, June and Clementine, making music, or trying her hand at a new craft each week.

michelle

Michelle has been cycling in studios across Montana since 2019, when she first fell in love with the energy, beat-based movement, and the welcoming vibes of the spin community. As someone who struggled to stick to a consistent workout routine, spin became her supportive space to let go of stress in a way that didn't feel like a chore. Whether you're new to spin or a confident pro, Michelle is excited to help cultivate an inviting and energetic experience as soon as you walk through the door.

When she’s not at the studio helping you prep for your ride, Michelle works remotely as a full-time digital marketing manager. She enjoys hiking on the many trails we're lucky to have local access to and planning her next weekend getaway -- usually to a new city or another national park to explore.
